Several of our therapists have found that women who come to them for low back pain also have urinary incontinence and pelvic pain issues. Our trained and experienced rehab team is able to perform pelvic floor muscle evaluations. Upon initial evaluation a treatment plan is developed based on a patient’s individual needs. The treatments may include but are not limited to emphasis on exercise to improve the neuro-muscular function of the pelvic floor complex, ultrasound, soft tissue techniques, electrical stimulation and biofeedback including SEMG (surface electromyography).
