Jason Ball is the Director of PT Northwest’s Corvallis clinic. Jason has been a part of the PT Northwest rehab team for 11 years. Before taking over the clinic in Corvallis, Jason was the Director at PT Northwest’s Monmouth location. Jason is a native Oregonian and a graduate of Western Oregon University and Pacific University. Jason was a standout basketball player in high school and college. At Western Oregon University, Jason was selected to the All-American team.
As a physical therapist, Jason excels at sports rehab and clearly understands the mind of the athlete. His patients comment on how committed he is to seeing them improve. Jason enjoys all aspects of physical therapy, and can easily treat a diverse patient population.
As a physical therapist, Jason has achieved advanced certification. Jason is a Sports Certified Specialist. There are only a handful of Sports Certified Specialists in Oregon and about 200 nationally. Along with being a Sports Certified Specialist, Jason is also an ASTYM Certified Provider. The ASTYM System is a form of augmented soft tissue mobilization that allows the therapist to stimulate the body’s own capacity for healing in patients with soft tissue degeneration, fibrosis, or chronic inflammation. The results of this technique are often amazing. Orthotics fitting rounds out Jason’s advanced certifications.
In addition to his commitment to physical therapy, Jason is committed to the community and his family. He is an avid Rotary member and a frequent speaker at health fairs and events. Jason definitely believes in giving back to the local community. Jason and his wife Shanda have two beautiful girls. Their family enjoys all types of outdoor activities.
